Crystal Chambers. Made one? Post Here.

Here is another crystal chamber I have made this time built using a Flourite octohedral crystal. It's kind of a diamond shaped crystal. It's green in color so it really looks great with a green led.  It really enhances the green color.

Now how do you make the unit stationary or attached like that? Thats one thing I never understood. To me its just hanging there by magic lol. I was looking into buying one and getting an extension piece to put it in since it runs on watch batteries. Would be under the speaker making it a bit muffled but its just for show, not while dueling

The reveal is only attached at one end the other end unscrews. You can hold it usually by taping in a set screw. I put a c -clip or retaining clip on one end on the inside so you can't push the chamber all the way through.

Man that is a work of art. I love the old 4 piece design of the arbiter. When I get my diamond electronics and put them in an MHS staff, I'll definitely have to do that style. Have the crystal placed where the body unscrews. Now that I'm comfortable with wiring, doing accent LEDs would be simple. I'd make a window to see the crystal shine through as well. Good work with the chamber again

Thanks Projectno!  Ginsu, I bought chassis disks to make this cc from TCSS. I used #3 disks so it would fit in the grip section of my Arbiter. The main body is much larger so you may want a different size disk depending on your hilt.  Once you found and know where you want your chamber you would then mark the spot to drill and tap so the screw buts up against the edge of the disk.  You want it planed out perfectly before doing this obviously with wires and everything in place, you don't want to drill twice. Measure twice cut once as they say.

Oh wow, so it is merely held there by pressure alone. I really want to do this but 8ts kind of impossible to do with n ultrasabee due to the body being one solid piece. How did you make it happen?

I had to make it so it wouldn't spin, but ya mostly pressure.  I was only able to do it because it's a 4 piece saber. They have now made them three piece only. I'm thinking I'm going to do a Reaper next time. It would be cool to do the Archon, but like I said you have to cut it in half. Put in some threads and a sleeve. I'm actually thinking I may do it one of these days, or at least look into it.

I was thinking attach double female extension to pommel to have the chamber within and a double male vented coupler to let out the sound and just use O rings to hold it in place. Make it easy to adjust when I want to duel with it

Whenever I pull the trigger on it Ill post a video and pm you. Just realized though that I cant have it sit in a vented coupler to help with the sound and have it be a reveal chamber. Ill have to go with it all veing closed but Im sure the sound will travel down. Like I said, not like Ill duel with the crystal in there.
