Had some scrap acrylic at work and decided to play with different dimensions for offset hilts. In my experimentation, I wound up with a set of dimensions that're perfect for MHS hilts with 1" blades, so my Standard Issue fits right on top. I'm quite fond of the way the diffused edges catch the blade light.

Very nice!
I'm also thinking about fabricating one with a little sign engraved on the cross section to make it somewhat unique.
The windowsill is awaiting for it already...

We've got a bunch of engraving bits at work, I just never had the spare time to throw a sheet up and do some custom engraving. The trouble with the equipment is it's all meant for large scale work, so I'd have to engrave the sheet and then cut the plaque - I can't engrave a pre-cut piece.

The stands were originally meant to hold a static Graflex hilt level. Thought about doing the following for each variant in the collection:

STAR WARS
(Movie Title)
Skywalker Lightsaber

The best part would be the letters lighting up when a blade went in/on. The nifty thing about clear acrylic is *only* the machined edges light up, so the face would remain clear while the letters lit up.

Speaking from the perspective of someone who's got 6 t track hilts coming in lol, this stand is aweome!  Clean and compact, and I really like this design the most of others I've seen by far.  I just like how it looks for one, but I really like the way the cross support is so perfectly suited for engraving or a nice plaque.  The movie title and info displayed across that front piece is what I plan to do for sure, so I guess great minds think alike lol?  I'm going to be doing builds of all the pairs of iconic sabers from ANH thru to TFA (for now, eventually the prequels too) and I'm gonna have plaques made (tho I can't decide if wanna go with something like, ie. "Graflex, TFA" or something like that, or maybe something more like "Graflex, such n such ABY" etc.)
