Master Rel nods his head, mouth too full to answer, smiles anyway..stifles a small laugh.

"Crook..cough..ack...no it is not for any of us to say, up to her at this point"

Clearing his throat with a drink of juice.

"Let say we finish this up and then head to the crystal repository, who did you acquire your last crystal?"

::Kev grew quiet for a bit.  His eyes stared off into the distance, lost in a memory.  Finally his attention snapped back to the present.::

"I had a blue crystal from the crystal cave that I used to make my lightsaber.  When my master died, I took his green crystal and added it to my lightsaber as well.  It was a traditional thing Mandalorians do to honor the dead.  I wish that I could've recovered it from Voss..."

"I see"

Hooting

"Well you may or may not know, but I am something of a specialist regarding saber construction and crystals in particular" hand on shoulder "My crystal that was lost on Voss, contained a measure of connection to one I lost years before you were born, so I am empathetic to your situation"

Pushing aside the remains of the plate and drinking the last of his juice.

"On that note I think it is time to sing to some crystals yes?"

Master Rel stands and clears his meal to the attendant.

"I am ready when you are."  ::He replied as he finished his meal and threw away the trash.  It would be good to have a lightsaber again.  He felt off  without it, naked in a sense ::

***Keldor***

Keldor took a breath. Master Kaedan was always harsh and critical. Anything involving encountering other Sith would not sit well with him.

"I apologize Master," he said looking at Kaedan. "I didn't sense the Sith or know they were there until they confronted us. By then, they had already killed the boys parents. We were able to convince them to leave, as fighting would have broken the fragile treaty. They left. We saw them again at the hangar, and also convinced them to leave, which I am sure they did. We checked thoroughly for trackers and found none Masters. We weren't followed. I even took an off path just in case." He finished his speech with a bow in the Master's direction.

"You'll understand if we have a technician comb over the transport again, I assume." Master Kaedan activated a communicator and spoke simply, "Check out the most recent transport to come in. We have reason to believe the Sith may have tried to hide a tracer."

Before he could again turn on the trio, Master Braga breathed heavily and asked, "What of the boy? We see he can certainly sleep soundly, but does he understand? Does he know that he will never see his family again, and what it means to be joining the Jedi?"

****Keldor****

"Certainly Masters," he said. "Krit checked the entire transport and found no tracers." He turned to the other Master, a slight somber look in his eye. "Yes, he has come to peace that his family is dead. He understands what he will have to sacrifice to become a Jedi. I believe in him Masters."

**Krit**

When Fut's family was mentioned, Krit looked at the boy with regret. "Masters, on the subject of the boy's parents, I feel the need to say that, with the desire to finish the mission as quickly and with as little heartbreak as possible, I tried to use some of my mental abilities on Fut's parents, with," he paused for an instant, wishing he could melt into the floor, "limited success. I understand that both my motives and handling of the situation were poor, and want to apologize."

At least the child was still asleep. He didn't want Fut to know what he had done.

Master Shan held up a hand to forestall any other discussion, "Krit, we are disappointed that you did not simply use words and logic to convince the boy's parents. Turning a child over to be trained is a huge decision for any set of parents, and it is never wise to trick them into doing so. Had these parents lived and come to their senses, this would reflect poorly on the Jedi and would lend credence to the lies that we kidnap children."

The Grand Master sighed and continued, "That said, you are still in need of training and the parents will not come after the Order. As awful as the events are, especially for the boy, you were fortunate. Both of you are dismissed. Take the boy to the training area with the other younglings and wake him up. You will be familiar faces to him during his time in training, but it will be an easier transition for him if you at least wake him up and let him know why you are leaving him with the others."

**Krit**

"Thank you, and my apologies, Masters," Krit said, bowed, and left for the training area. When he was outside of the Council chambers, he set Fut down and woke him up gently. "We're here on Tython," he told the child. "The council saw you, now we're going to take you to see the other children, all right?"

Fut nodded sleepily. Krit thought he'd likely have to reiterate this when they arrived at the training area.

***Keldor***

Keldor and the gang made it to the training area, with Fut walking this time. They arrived, and Krit explained everything to the trainer.

"Now Fut," he said, "I'm gonna leave you with that nice man over there, okay? The other children will be your friend. Don't worry, we'll still be in the temple, so you can still see us whenever you want to." Waving goodbye, Keldor exited the training room, and started towards his.
