With the premise that the first sentence is misleading. He should have asked if anyone wanted to hear something dirty, because a horse falling in the mud does not constitute a joke.

As the creator of this thread, nowhere in the rules does it state that jokes have to be new or be something no-one has ever heard of before.

Technically it is a joke. The joke is not the white horse part, but rather getting people to think they will hear a joke, and then the joke that you tell isn't what they thought they would hear.
