Don't worry! I'm not asking what to do when SRD fades to green, I've already put fresh batteries in and it's back to its original color.

My question is, which green does it turn into when dying? The blue goes away first, but does it only partially die so the result is an Emerald Green, or does the blue disappear entirely so the blade turns into Consular Green?

Neither Light nor Dark are superior. Rigid denial of self and blood obedience to dogma is just as oppressive as abandonment to base passions and unchecked pursuit of power. Do the good you can for whom you can, but do not succumb to either extreme.

I may be Gray, but I lean Light, so those points are appreciated.

I think when I had one my blue always died first but I always made sure to put in fresh batteries anyway. Is this just a topic question or concern?

My question is to which of the US available blade colors is the dying SRD most like. It's a rather intense green, and I think it may be the same as the Consular Green but I'd like confirmation.

It's more of a Consular Green, because when blue dies first, it vanishes almost completely and leaving the blade with the more intense green die. Emerald Green would still need a touch of blue, but on a dying blade there's not nearly enough blue to create a noticeable Emerald Green.

Alright, thank you. I do like that intense green, and I have an idea for a heavily customized hilt which may utilize it.
