I didn't think those were available yet...
They've been in use in Europe for at least 10 years. Cheques no longer exist and bank transfers/online banking is the norm too. It's uncommon to have to wait until lunchtime to go to the cashpoint so you have something to put into the office collection for the colleague who is leaving as you only have 27p on you. We pay for pretty much everything using contactless nowadays. |

When I got my licence before I got my motorcycle it was all done online. They used the photo from my passport, I paid online after filling out the form and the licence arrived in the post about 2 weeks later. You guys seem very behind the times.

They have an online option, which still requires you to go to get your photo taken and I believe pay.... you fill it out and they send you a voucher I think. It's very behind the times. |
