I initially bought an Adegan Silver blade with the color discs and after having to fish the damn things out of the blade (yes they were frigging in the blade), I decided to buy filters after reading the forums.

I got Roscolux filters via Amazon and cut Filter circles the circumference of the blade. This is probably my favorite: #2003 (Storaro Yellow) + #4590 (CalColor 90 Yellow).  I also use #121 Blue Diffusion and #124 Red Cyc Silk when I'm feeling Sith-y

Hello,

Very interesting possibility! OP, would you mind posting some pictures with other colors that work well?

Thanks!

Hi Loa . . . some time ago another forum member did a huge test with the different colour discs, this might give you an idea of some of the possibilities using discs or filters . . . cheers  Smiley

Nice Review/Information. +1. I have a set of Roscolux filters, and they work great as well!

I cut out my filters by taking one of the US color disks, putting it on top of the swatch I want, and then cutting a circle/octagon around it.

Thanks for the link!

Now a more difficult request: can anyone compare a AS + discs to a tri-cree GB or EG?

Thanks!

This 'Topic' was a huge help. Just wanted to give an update.

Apollo, as of right now, is not offering the Swatchbook online. Also, Lee still offers the coupon code to pay $0.01 plus $6.45 for shipping, only for the Designers Edition. Numerical Edition is $2.00.
