Is anyone else having issues updating their launcher? And do I really need it for any really big features.

Well, big is a relative term. You'd need to Obsidian Launcher to edit sounds and swap out different sounds that what is on the board.

You'd need the emerald launcher to do anything.

the only issues i have is actually updating
i followed the directions and i cant select "update components"
