The Force Will Be With You...Always

« on: April 22, 2016, 12:55:41 AM »

is there anyway to make soundfonts louder in a music editing program(e.g. Audacity) especially the hums as before I sent my Sentinel LE V4 for repair this week,I downloaded a user made the Force Awakens Graflex soundfont(Finn/Rey's lightsaber in the movies) but was dissatisfied on how low the volume was especially the hum(Hum was too low for my liking I'd prefer it to be a little louder and im thinking other are thinking the same too) Any help is appreciated?

In Audacity, there's a tab that says Effect. In that, I think Amplify is what you're looking for. That's all I know. I haven't used it much in years. The next issue will be getting it to work the files. I haven't figured out how to convert LSU to WAV and back again. It's somewhere in the forums though.

Since LSU is really just raw 16 bit mono, 44100Hz,  I'm assuming you could just import/export it as such, and then just add the extension.
Otherwise, you just use this for converting to wave: https://github.com/leethomason/LSUtoWAV/releases
