All very true, but in terms of this thread really all we have to go on is physical.  We don't really know any of these celebrities personally.  Sure we can see parts of their personalities in social media and interviews but there is always a great chance it is a carefully sculpted façade.

As a physical specimen, she just doesn't do it for me. She is petite to all senses of the word. (I like curves.) She's cute, but nothing of what I would label as a classic beauty. What I find most attractive about her is her creativity and ability which I would categorize under intelligence. Not only does she play violin, she's also a composer. I've truly wondered if she has the ability to actually play while dancing. Being able to play, and sound good, while moving like that would take a severe amount of focus. Plus, she's a total nerd.

I disagree with none of this.... but finding abilities attractive can still be superficial, imo.  Physical, Personality and Abilities are separate attributes.  As "consumers" we can see the physical and the abilities but the personality will always have the possibility of being merely a crafted fantasy.  For Example:  Kathryn Winnick ( I can not post pictures from work).  She is the actress that played Lagertha in Vikings.  Physically she is absolutely beautiful to me.  Abilities, she is a good actress and an experienced Martial Artist (she was teaching martial arts by 18 and has her bodyguarding license).  Personality, from interviews she seems like a funny and very kind person.....but unless I know her personally I will never know if that is truly her...or a façade.  Call me a cynic but when it comes to celebrities I only factor the ability and physical.

I don't discount this logic. BUT the thread title states "Attractive" not 'attracted to'. Most attraction starts with what we see. Sight is our furthest reaching sensory input. The next furthest is hearing. I've posted Jennifer Hale before. She's a well versed voice actress. I haven't seen her in anything, but I find her voice to be particularly.......stimulating.

I couldn't agree more. Lindsey is the perfect example here. I think she's kind of cute, but definitely not my type physically. I think it maybe a personal experience I had that makes me see things this way.  Jr High there was this particular young lady that was incredibly beautiful...we were all 12-13 but she looked like a grown woman...so needless to say all of us were enthralled with her.  But beyond looks she was incredibly talented.  Band, Soccer, ROTC and even a fencer outside of school.  Then one day I had the pleasure (initially) to be paired with her for a class project.  The infatuation ended within 30 minutes of talking with her.  Rude, arrogant and Lazy when it came to the project.  I wound up doing the majority of the work just so we could get a good grade.  Of course that isn't a unique story but it did alter how I viewed attraction.


I am quite familiar with Tara Lynn...... her photoshoots are never disappointing.
