"That" is called Raclette in France and Switzerland ... It is mainly melted mountain cheese on potatoes ... with that, you can add ham and many types of salted mountain meat ... Do not know if i can live where there is not Winter time  |

In the mountains, you get some snowfall, but alot of man made powder machines keep the ski resorts busy. What we wouldn't give for some rain! |

77°F (25°C) is almost summer time here  Maybe it is southern California ... i spent some times in San Fransisco area and i remember temperatures colder than 77 ... |

Almost took offense to this. I thought you forgot an apostrophe in "time's", but then I re-read it. I don't envy you desert folk. Last week sucked, but this week has warmed back up to the mid-70s. I would absolutely love it If the weather held at least mid 60s until after Halloween. I hate seeing the kids' costumes covered by coats. PS: I hate winter. I'm thoroughly convinced that humans should hibernate. But at least we don't get that lake-effect BS that Buffalo does. XÞ |
