I haven't done it yet to any of mine, but a buddy wanted to improve the retention strength on the blade in his Aeon V3.   So he drilled out the existing retention screw hole to something about 3X the size, drilled a matching hole opposite, and he uses retention set screws that are hollow, so they've become de-facto emitter windows. 

I'll see if I can get the stats from him.    They're pretty awesome looking.  :-)
