PEACE IS A LIE. THERE IS ONLY PASSION.

The following is a parody of Cara Dillon's "Hill of Thieves" which is an excellent song. I'm a huge fan of her work, and you can check out her song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfpG6nVcoCY

I recommend listening to the song before you read in order to make sense of the parody's rhythm and whatnot.

"The Will of The Force"
(By Ress Andor and adapted from the work of Cara Dillon)

For too long now I've been a stranger here
To the halls above Coruscant
And the Force and your ways
Where great Master's souls walk these very halls
In the Force they sing "Come away, come away"

To the perfect peace with the city below
And the serene feel of the endless flow
And you still might hear the Skywalker Clan
"Come away", they say "to the Temple and our Kin".

Where the True Jedi have walked this land

All the loneliest miles, with their sabers in hand
And their blood runs still, in the hearts of all men
And their heart can be felt in the Will of the Force

For too long now I've been a stranger here
To the halls above Coruscant
And the Force and your ways
Where great Master's souls walk these very halls
In the Force they say "Come away, come away"

"Come away, come away"

"Come away, come away"

"Come away, come away"

Thanks for reading! Hope you liked it.

Hello Ress Andor, Everyone,

I believe parodies are an art form - if the Parody artist is seen to have put thought and effort into it rather than just changing one or two words. I did a parody work of one of my favourite songs, Bohemian Rhapsody, and re-wrote the lyrics to a Star Wars theme. I also collected a series of image slides that I superimposed the new lyrics onto, to help illustrate the new words. You could play the original song and scroll through the slides karaoke style. (No I didn't record me singing it, I'm a keyboard player).
However you only need to look at artists like Weird Al Yankovich and his Star Wars parodies (His, My Lola and American Pie parodies) to see what I mean, he has done them with a love of the original material and the Star Wars universe.
Just my two cents,

For Tyeth

A point for your efforts.
