would you guys/girls recommend me buying a switch to my lightsaber? At this current time it is being shipped to me and I should recieve it in 3 days. Since I made a custom lightsaber Im not actually sure if there will be a "dead"cap added into the box for my saber. If theres not a "dead" cap shipped with the saber, would you guys recommend me buying a switch?

If you did not get a luminated AV switch (Red, Blue, or Green) your saber will have a standard switch installed.  It will look similar to the one pictured at the link below.

I'm not sure what you mean by a "dead" cap.  If you can clarify I think we all will be able to help you more.

From what you're saying (and from the title) I'm gonna go ahead and guess that you only bought the body, emitter and Pommel.  Having never ordered the parts to build a lightsaber from US before I don't think they will give you any kind of plug or cap (is that what you meant?) for the switch hole.  Good news, you can probably make a cap.  But then again you might want to put electronics in it one day.  SO, if you every want electronics in it, just buy them.  If not, plug it up!

And let us know if you get this "dead" cap.  And as always PICTURES PLEASE!

What i mean by "dead" switch is a switch that actually does nothing but its still there... Like the dead pedel on your car. It doesn't really do anything but its there
