I read this... and barely understood it, but it's mind boggling to me. I think I can either accept that the Star Wars universe doesn't follow the same laws of physics that ours does or else Han Solo is older than the emperor.  What a big diference 12 parsecs makes!

This article assumes no hyperspace. And we all know that hyperspace makes you immune to relativistic effects.
