I'm fairly decent with computers... Still hate apple though.
Same here, but only apple computers. Their phones and tablets are just fine. |

I think I'll leave now, so many Apple haters. It's just anti-apple conspiracy, don't sweat it. At one point, I had to learn ios and have to admit it wasn't as terrible as I had thought... But I can't remember any of it since it's been more than 5 years since I had to use an apple device. |

Another point for you. It's just anti-apple conspiracy, don't sweat it. At one point, I had to learn ios and have to admit it wasn't as terrible as I had thought... But I can't remember any of it since it's been more than 5 years since I had to use an apple device.
It's not that I don't like others, but iOS is the only mobile OS I've used, and I see no reason to change that. |

To be honest, people seem to suckle at the teat of Apple, calling it the greatest thing out there and spending thousands of dollars per year to get the latest gadget, when in reality they're comparable to every other product out there, and in some cases are inferior.
Apple sells a pretty package and a lot of hype for an average to inferior quality product. This is how marketing works.

I agree with you about those kind of people. I know someone who had a perfectly fine iPhone 6S, 64 GB of storage. And within a week of the 7's release, he had a 7 Plus.  |

I've never used their mobile devices, so I am not sure about that aspect. I take that back. I learned a lot about Iphone 6 when they launched, so I have some experience with their mobile OS. That was about 2 weeks before I got out of that job. The two statements aren't related. Their pcs and laptops, in my opinion, are almost nightmarish. Granted, once you learn and are using them on a semi-regular basis it's not that bad... but if you ever forget and have to relearn it... ugh. Since I am no longer in IT, I will stick with what I'm familiar with. |

At work I have a (old) Windows7 station, a (very old) Silicon Graphics O2 station and a marvelous Mac Book Pro that started with Snow Leopard and now with Yosemite. At home we have a Mac Mini as a media center (still with snow leopard) So, 4 computers ... and only one i have to make reinstall very often  |

I like Apple phones and tablets, but not their comps. I don't like Android phones or tablets, but as long as the computer is not Apple, I like them. That it is more intuitive to learn, for computers most definitely, but for mobile devices, I am not so sure. |
