Grats for all the star-ups everyone.

I've been mostly levelling up lower lvl alts so they can actually help out more in GW.  Daka, Sidious, and Kylo Ren all been getting some love recently, especially to help my progress on Dark Side fights.

I've also been farming the shiznits out of Dathcha, mostly for poops and giggles and because I wanted a jawa.  Anyone actually find him useful?  (One day I'll get engineer, but don't have the spare resources right now)

I sure hope you haven't been spending GW tokens on him.  Farming his shards otherwise is fine, but there are plenty more better toons in the GW shop.  He is useful for the AAT tank raid, or if you wanted to fight a droid team, but not much else.

I often run Wiggs, EP, Rey, and K-2 in Arena. They hit hard. A lot.

First 4 hit hard and K-2 as the tank. Nice, but I'm on iOS, so didn't get K-2. If I were to switch out one toon, it would be Vader, but he's basically a tank with awesome offensive abilities. 2 in 1.

All good. I really like my RG for a tank. Very tanky, auto taunt, and a reliable stun.

So, I needed four more shards to promote my RG to 4*s.

I logged on this morning, and went to the card store for my free bronzium...  RG!  Seven shards!  Promoted for nothing!

YAY!

That's a good feeling.

I'm 18 wins away from getting the 150 GW wins, and then I'll start moving my toons out of the 70s, and boy do they need it.

Where I'm at, I'm consistently winning in GW (5-6x per week), but I can't really gear up my toons until I get them into the high 70s or 80s, and I'm always right on the bubble of finishing in the top 200 in the arena, but almost every team I run into is all 85. It takes the right combo for me to hang with them.

This is all "on paper" because I don't have the key characters developed yet and that will take some time but . . .

. . . I feel pretty certain I have cracked the code to make all Rebel teams - and specifically the dreaded Wiggs-Lando-STHan combos that make up 2/3rds of the Top 100 - my personal beeotches for now & eternity.

Here's the Team and what each would bring to the Table:


Emperor Palpatine (Leader):  +32% Potency to Allies, High Damage, Offense Up, Stun

Darth Vader:  One-Shot potential w/ Culling Blade, Ability Block

Darth Maul: High Damage, Daze

Tie Fighter Pilot:  Buff Immunity

Grand Moff Tarkin:  Offense Down, Speed Down


So here's the Game Plan . . .


TFP is already really fast - push it through the Roof.

Also get Tarkin's Speed as high as possible.

You want those two to go as soon as possible when the match kicks off so you can use their Specials.

TFP has an 80% chance to apply Buff Immunity to each Enemy with his Area Attack.

Grand Moff Tarkin's Special applies Offense Down to all Enemies for 3 Turns & Speed Down on REBELS for 2 Turns.

This is where all that extra Potency from the Emperor is key - unless they all happen to have Tenacity through the roof, they won't have good odds of resisting.

Have Darth Maul unleash his Area Attack and all of a sudden all those Rebels should have . . .

- Buff Immunity

- Offense Down

- Speed Down

- Daze


Sure it won't be 100% across the board, but they should get hit with the brunt of it.


All of a sudden Wiggs & Lando are neutered and Han can't Taunt.

Now some will be stunned as well from the Emperor's multi-attack and before they can all recover, he'll also have given everyone on your Team Offense Up.


It will be like shooting fish in a barrel.  By the time they start shedding those debuffs, a lot of damage will be done.

And a Turn after that?  You can unleash Hell on them again.

On a separate note, other than the stupid tutorials, starting the game over is kinda fun.

Unrelated to that, I've started putting all of my mods into a spreadsheet to keep track of them and try to figure out the best combinations for everyone.
