This is all "on paper" because I don't have the key characters developed yet and that will take some time but . . .
. . . I feel pretty certain I have cracked the code to make all Rebel teams - and specifically the dreaded Wiggs-Lando-STHan combos that make up 2/3rds of the Top 100 - my personal beeotches for now & eternity.
Here's the Team and what each would bring to the Table:
Emperor Palpatine (Leader): +32% Potency to Allies, High Damage, Offense Up, Stun
Darth Vader: One-Shot potential w/ Culling Blade, Ability Block
Darth Maul: High Damage, Daze
Tie Fighter Pilot: Buff Immunity
Grand Moff Tarkin: Offense Down, Speed Down
So here's the Game Plan . . .
TFP is already really fast - push it through the Roof.
Also get Tarkin's Speed as high as possible.
You want those two to go as soon as possible when the match kicks off so you can use their Specials.
TFP has an 80% chance to apply Buff Immunity to each Enemy with his Area Attack.
Grand Moff Tarkin's Special applies Offense Down to all Enemies for 3 Turns & Speed Down on REBELS for 2 Turns.
This is where all that extra Potency from the Emperor is key - unless they all happen to have Tenacity through the roof, they won't have good odds of resisting.
Have Darth Maul unleash his Area Attack and all of a sudden all those Rebels should have . . .
- Buff Immunity
- Offense Down
- Speed Down
- Daze
Sure it won't be 100% across the board, but they should get hit with the brunt of it.
All of a sudden Wiggs & Lando are neutered and Han can't Taunt.
Now some will be stunned as well from the Emperor's multi-attack and before they can all recover, he'll also have given everyone on your Team Offense Up.
It will be like shooting fish in a barrel. By the time they start shedding those debuffs, a lot of damage will be done.
And a Turn after that? You can unleash Hell on them again.
