IIRC It is an early level where you fly down a water filled canyon chasing three enemy aircraft and have to bring them down. Things get interesting when the fog closes in and you can't see the walls of the canyon (known as "Socked in" by some pilots!). Sadly this was the only version of the franchise I got to play, I migrated to pc flight simming after that (I've got a Millennium Falcon, X-Wing and an ETA-2 Starfighter to fly though!)

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll just have to get the games again and see. I think all of the games have at least one canyon run level.

Speaking of computer flight sims, I also have TIE Fighter and X-Wing.

Have you seen those DLC packs on gaming download/streaming sites. You can get bundles of software including the Star Wars games including the TIE vs X-Wing series. They have even had the update pack with the improved graphics and sound.

I have the GOG versions, which come with three different ones: the original CD versions, the Collector's Edition CD versions and the Special Edition CD versions.  Of those, only the original and Collector's Edition versions will work with my operating system.  They come bundled with an optimized DOSBox version and a launcher to launch the games in DOSBox with one click.  Cool

Though, way back in the day, I had those games on CD-ROM, I think the Special Edition "Windows" releases. (they still ran in a DOS shell, but could be installed on Windows)

Clearly you have seen them! I have heard good things about Gog and Humble Bundle but my computer is in storage at the moment after a recent move so I am using an old Lenovo laptop and a tablet. My main PC is running Vista so that's not much better Embarrassed
I may have to look into getting these packs when I can though.

Favorite Game - either Zelda: Ocarina of Time, or Final Fantasy Tactics.

Favorite Star Wars game - like many others...KoTOR.  However, I always felt the game was kinda clunky, and woul have been more enjoyable if the action was more fluid, like the Force Unleased games.

Regardless, I'm still hoping we will someday get an Elder Scrolls style Star Wars game.  A single player, Open World (possibly multiple planet), with a character that could literally be anything you wanted to turn them into, with the option of changing course on a whim if you suddenly decide you want your Bounty Hunter to start using a lightsaber, for instance.

I would cry tears of joy if they ever made that game.  Unfortunately, with EA at the helm for the foreseeable future, I don't know if we'll ever see that.  EA of late seems to like to force people to do stuff online in their games, even though many of us would prefer not to have to do that.

For Star Wars games I love the Jedi Knight series, KOTOR and Rogue Sqadron.

For non Star Wars some of my all time favorites are Banjo-Kazooie and Jak and Daxter.

I played the heck out of the Ratchet & Clank games.  Sly Cooper too.

We owned Jak & Daxter, but I never got right into them.

Star Wars: Dark Forces (nostalgia  Sad)
In actuality its The Force Unleashed 1. I loved that game, the sequel was garbage in comparison (my opinion).

Regular Video Game: Resident Evil 4. I've beaten it 54 times....

Red Dead Redemption wins in terms of story though. Love me a good western that actually makes me care.

Regular Game: Ratchet: Deadlocked. I've lost count of how many times I've played through it.

SW Game: toss up between Ep. I Racer and Force Unleashed.
