Just want to state that I am a noob to the custom sabersnbut have experience with electronics and computers. I have a Archon V3 that i decided to do a emerald upgrade myself. I can't get the driver to do anything. Will not even connect to Launcher. I have verified the wiring and voltage several times and still no luck. any help would be most welcomed!

Is your saber on when you try to connect it to the computer?

Yes. I am opening the launcher, turning on the saber and then connecting the usb. Keeps saying check usb cable or reset board. I can connect to the soundboard just fine. Will not connect when plugged in to the emerald driver

Have you already tried a reset? Also, it could help to uninstall the saber from the Devices and Printers section and go through the installation progress again, i.e. activating the saber, plugging it into the PC and wait until the Windows Driver has been installed.

It's curious, I never heard that the Emerald Driver won't connect...normally it's the Obsidian sound board that has problems especially with Win 8 and 10 Smiley

I assume by reset you mean turn off the saber and remove the batteries then reinstall and turn back on?

Yes, that's what I meant. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the Mac OS and the problems that might occur with UltraSabers Undecided
