If I were to purchase an Obsidian Soundboard, what else would I have to buy in order to wire it to a stunt saber? A Lithium Battery tray? Solder and a soldering gun? Resistors? I don't know how much it would cost as well. Thanks!

At a minimum, one each of these:

https://www.ultrasabers.com/product-p/z-sound-aacombo.htm

https://www.ultrasabers.com/product-p/z-sound-obsidianusb.htm

https://www.ultrasabers.com/product-p/z-electronics-buckpuck1000.htm

And, that's just a start.  Cost wise, you're  at over $150 (US dollars) just with those.  You will also need a momentary switch, either guarded or AV, depending on what your saber has.  And, yes, you will need solder and a soldering iron.  You'll also need wire, heat shrink and a heat gun (for the heat shrink.)  There are various other optional things, such as clamps to hold things and whatnot, that will make like easier, and common sense stuff like pliers, wire snips, etc.

All told, you'll spend over $200 to do a DIY upgrade to Obsidian sound.  How much exactly depends on what you have already and which options you choose.

I'd strongly recommend a lithium battery set-up over a AAA one too (Obsidian V3/4).

Ah yes, batteries and a charger too.  Forgot those.  Good catch, Lord Rapine.  Smiley

Cost wise, you may almost be better off just leaving it a stunt and ordering a saber with Obsidian.  You're probably going to spend about the same amount or more.  Unless you just want to DIY for the challenge, then that's a different story.  Wink  Before you get into a project of this scope, you may want to look at some how to videos on YouTube.
