So for standard stunt set ups, how does the Tri-Cree colors do? When I get my saber I might try a Tri-Blazing Red so ;o I heard they like to eat the batteries more than single leds so. to me they seem to have the same run time as the special colors such as Sun Rider's Destiny, Arctic Blue, and so on. am I right about that?

Yes.  The special colors use multiple led dies. It depends on your power set up. I use 2600mah 18650s for my Tri deep reds and I get 2.5 hours of life out of it. I also run a sound card as well
