I'm the assistant manager at a national jewelry company store at a mall. Halloween tends to be the slowest sales day of the year. So much so that the mall lets stores close early, if they so desire. Being so slow, I figured I could get away with wearing my full gray Jedi costume to work. There are a couple of moments that stand out for the day.
One was when a family walked by, and their son (maybe 5?) looks at me in wonder and runs up to his mom, declaring "Look mom! I told you Jedi were REAL!"
Later in the day, a guy walks past the store with his kid who was dressed up as Darth Vader. I activated my Scorpion ultrasaber and approached the child. "So Lord Vader, we meet again. I have looked forward to matching you in combat!" (Striking a pose). We proceeded to match sabers, but mini-Vader was too powerful, and he subdued me with a force choke.
