Hi Ryan.  I made a comment elsewhere but will again here.  Really enjoyed watching, and especially you with that youngish fellow wearing the dark baggy shorts.  Seems to be more of a balanced match for you.  Looked like you were enjoying yourself.  Thanks again for the share and point already given with much appreciation.

Thanks. Yea, we had a great time. You'll notice in the drill with both of them I am giving ground. Normally This drill it is single hand and your empty hand is " checking the gun " of your training partner which requires us to be very close. When run two handed the range can change drastically so I use footwork to keep it going. That last clip at the end I keep telling him to go faster and faster. Which is the entire point of this drill. Lots of fun!

That looks like a lot of fun.    The dude with the purple saber is definitely a quick one, isn't he?  Not that the other dude is bad or anything, he's definitely got some moves.  I always like how the Ultra Sabers look at night on video.

Yes he is. I use footwork and centerline techniques to steal the angles so I don't have to move as fast. The taller gentlemen is really good at sparring. Those two went at it for a good couple minutes with some sparring. Didn't want this one to focus on that, so we left it out for next time. Alex (purple Lightsaber) crashes straight forward sometimes, so his knuckles will get hit from time to time. Adam(red and green sabers) is great at tightening an angle with footwork to steal a line and lop off a limb. All in all, very fun and we can't wait till next time!

So, ran some of our other members through the same velocity. At the end we string together multiple drills. I just wish it was blurry! Getting a better camera this month. Same velocity. We have many many more drills, techniques etc. Their might be a part 3 if the other 7 members want to post a vid.

You'll notice everyone tends to move faster when they are with me. It has to do with being comfortable with your training partner. I've worked with all of these students for 2 - 5 years. For example, in this one me and the gentlemen with the red Kali sized Lightsaber have trained together almost 6 years. We are working on something special! Anyway, enough Jibba Jabba. Here you go.

The club is growing. We ran some open and closed chambered kali drills. Then of course 5 pt sumbrada for our new members. Always lots of fun and an excuse to train!

While my club does not post spar sessions. We do spar quite a bit. I had quite a few people message me about what I use and also what is in my " gear bag ". So here you go. TPLA in my opinion breaks down the safety the best.

Edit - And for god sakes wear head protection...
