Very nicely done there Lord Bladewraith. Your Jedi costume is excellent and the action photos are awesome. Point to you for going all out for Rogue One.  Smiley

Thanks a bunch! I'm thinking I should've just gone without my cloak. Oh well, lesson learned for SW 8.

Thanks Lord Bladewraith. Yeah wearing a cloak can be a little too warm whilst costuming in any weather. It was good to see your complete Jedi costume. Point to you good sir.

I absolutely loved Star Wars: Rogue One. I have other photos coming through and the 3D photos that were taken will be available in a couple of weeks. Some more pics below.  Smiley

Oh, same here. I've seen it twice now, and MUST go see it a third time on Monday in Laser Projection while it's available here for a limited time. It's supposed to be just gorgeous on the screen.

another +1 incoming for more great photos there.

I had a friend that was going to come with us and missed out due to other commitments, so we are going to catch up next week and watch the movie again. Thank you for the point and one given back.  Smiley

Excellent photos standing in front of the Rogue One signage B1ondeange1 and great group photo. We could not take a photo in front of the Rogue One posters as the cinema had posted them high up. We do have a couple of good photos taken outside with the group standing in front of the Imax Rogue One poster. It was taken in 3D and it will be a few weeks before it is available to post.

Well done and I like this photo the most. Point for you.

Those photos are awesome bigBear. You would be surprised of how many people appreciated seeing Star Wars fans show up in costume for the movie. We got out of the cinema and someone asked if they could take a photo with us. The next moment everyone was jumping in to take photos. Great job once again and very impressed.  Smiley

IMAX here said no blasters and full face covering masks. I asked how it was decided. They don't want other customers freaking out when they think they see a gun. Of the 5 people I saw in costume, two wore Vader's full face covering masks.

A different theater here said no lightsabers. They don't want people swinging fighting in a crowd.

After the movie, I was spinning in an empty hallway.

I contacted the cinema in person before arranging a group book to see Star Wars: TFA. I explained clearly to the manager on what items and costumes my group would be bringing along. We asked if we could take photos of our group inside the cinema prior to the movie commencing. Thankfully we got the green light to actively troop while there. The cinema was happy for us to be there as long as we were not trying to promote the movie on behalf of Disney. We also did not troop officially as a club. Just as friends getting together and dressing up for the movie.

When we went along to the cinema to see Rogue One we were never asked not to use our lightsabers and replica guns. We did our very best to not block the flow of traffic going in and out of the cinema. We also had no problems in taking photos in the cinema as well as people asking to have there photos taken with our group.

Every major cinema I know had people showing up in Star Wars costumes just to go and watch Rogue One.

I hope you guys do get a chance to wear your costumes and being able to take photos at the cinema.

So awesome! I wish I lived in a bigger city. Cold Lake is so small and doesn't do this sort of thing. The closest "big city" is Edmonton and thats 4 hours away.

One of these days we'll get dressed up for a movie premiere. Smiley
