My friend purchased the Archon V3.1 and the first thing I noticed was how heavy it was to hold. Having the Heavy Grade Blade also pushed up the weight of the saber. Your right about the neck section of the hilt. We opened up the join between the gold section and the black section of the neck piece and discovered that there is a very limited amount of thread holding these two pieces together. So I would not recommend in dueling with this saber unless you wish to permanently fasten those pieces together. My friend added a rubber washer to bring the two pieces together which stopped the wobble of the neck piece.

You have some really nice looking sabers there and well done to all your reviews.

Hey RedMileJedi! Nice review, well balanced collection and great to hear from you again.  That Archon is beautiful.  I ended up going with the Archon 2.1 myself but I'd be lying if I said I still wasn't a little envious at times of the looks of the 3.1. +1 incoming

Nice. Can always get a V2.1 emitter for heavy dueling because that does make a great dueling saber Just get a regular blade as well of course though since the V2.1 emitter neck has a deeper socket and when you go to put that blade in and then for the V3.1 emitter the retention dents will show on the blade
