Needing CPR is a bad sign. I hope someone is using it as a blanket term for immediate actions on the plane and not an actual need of compressions and breathing.

This does not sound good at all.  She will need all the Force healing energies that we can send her way. I agree... no more negativity/loss for 2016... whether one is in the public eye or out of the spotlights. |

I know a plethora of people who have survived major heart attacks that included CPR. My grandfather was one of them. Carrie is too tough for 2016 to take her out. Put out the positive vibes, people. The Force is strong in her.

I only meant recovery will take time. I work with patients of recent and past heart attacks. Most don't have the obvious chest pain symptoms like presented in TV or movies. (Father Kent, grabs his arm and says "Oh, no." before falling down.) And there are many interventions that can be done. The media may make many predictions and guess reports, but the real medical work will take time. Knowing that doesn't have to be negative.

I don't recall saying you were being negative. I'm just a sickening optimist at all times. Many have tried to stop me, but I am an unstoppable ray of kriffing sunshine, okay.  But I'm also not an idiot. It's unrealistic to believe she will magically heal in a few days/weeks/time period of your choice and I am aware of that. However, I fully intend to stay disgustingly positive about her giving 2016 the finger because if anyone can do it? It's her. |

My coworker survived a heart attack with administered CPR when he was 29 years old! He's 73 now |

A CBC news tweet said that her brother clarified to Reuters: "I am not saying she is fine, or not fine. She is in the ICU."
So she's not out of the woods yet.
