This is hitting me harder than I thought. Im sitting here watching How I met your mother and its the Star Wars episode. They watch The Trilogy every three years and the last was in 2015. The next trilogy night is 2018 and it will never be the same. I have been crying off and on all evening long. This really sucks.

I'm feeling it, too, and you are most welcome to say anything you're feeling, KDP, as you are in good company here with the sadness this day has brought. For me Dec. 27th will be remembered as a day of parting sorrow when we all had to say good bye to our Carrie Fisher. Sure does suck.  |

I'd just been commenting to a friend how kriffed up 2016 was ending, with four celeb deaths in my news feed app last night. This makes five and one of the most saddening of 2016. Now I really really wish I had seen her when she came to Perth a couple of years ago RIP Carrie Fisher, and MTFBWY. |

The Empire 2016 has already killed R2D2, but just to make certain, they killed Princess Leia too.
Ok, everyone into the T.A.R.D.I.S., we're all just skipping ahead to next year, possibly 2018, maybe even 2112, somewhere around May-ish just to be safe.

Drahcir summed it up perfectly, only princess I ever cared about. Whenever I think of the OT, I think of Han and then Leia right after. Never cared about that Luke guy.
So what does this mean for Episode 9? I assume Leia won't be in it. Also, I'm correct in hearing that the filming for Ep. 8 is done?
