Always smile when I see kids playing with lightsabers. All the complaining that Star Wars is dying (i know right?) its great to see a new generation geeking out and letting it live on.
On another note, there are several tutorials for Photoshop on how to render a good lightsaber blade. Ryan Weiber has a really easy one that takes like 5 min to learn.

Thanks! I used to do it quite a bit and it was so simple, but a few years and several versions of Paintshop Pro later, I just couldnt find the right tool and everything looked corny, so I gave up for now. Will revisit it when I have a little more time. |

Fun! Lightsabers make for a lot of fun over winter here too, mostly for indoors as it's usually freezing lol. Point for the share!

Hehe, it was about 18f... we played with the sabers for a little while, then bundled up and just played in the snow for a while until it just got too cold. |

Just saying. hehehe, dont worry, the coats came out once the sabers got put up and we went playing in the snow... the sun was nice and bright & warm though, so was a good while before we even felt the cold. The shirt came from a vendor at an IT Conference I went to a year or so ago.. it was a month or two before TFA came out, and a lot of the vendors went SW themed. |
