i settle on one kind of sound and start swinging

i have nothing against anyone who likes the v4 sound
it just doesnt appeal to me. too bad
its solely my opinion that the whole "sound change on the fly" is to much of a focal point than to the rest of the saber

I have the sleep schedule of a vampire and live in a house with other people. To me, the ability to mute the thing at any time is worth at least ten bucks.

Hey everyone. It seems like we have hijacked r1racer's thread even though he did ask for opinions. Just a friendly reminder. Hope that he or his daughter is enjoying the saber. The v4 Obsidian sound board option has been available for a relatively short period compared to the v3 version... which the greater majority was pleased with. The US Obsidian default font is still a favorite among many lightsaber collectors. |

I just ordered my 2nd saber (technically third, my girlfriend has my second ordered one) and went for v3 sound on this.
Anyone try pairing a regular stunt saber with a coupler and a sound saber for a staff with half sound?

I'm waiting for my new saber to come in, it should come in either today or tomorrow. I'm excited to see it. I ordered the Consular with obsidian soundboard v3. What do you guys think of that?
I think that's perfect especially if it's your first saber. Everyone has their own preference and I say you can't go wrong. I'm sure as you order more you'll figure out what else you'd want on your next purchase or new hilt. Experiment and try different combo customization's. Besides you are your own person/jedi/sith and that's what makes it unique to customize your saber to your own liking. Enjoy! |
