I ordered the Consular with Obsidian V3 soundboard and its on its way. What do you guys think of the V3? Are you able to plug the V3 into the computer and change the sound?

You should be able to.  The V4 launcher is supposed to work with V3 boards.  All you should need is a Windows or Mac computer and a mini USB cable.  In Windows, I believe you have to run the program with admin privileges.

yes you definitely can as long as you have the current updated launcher.
all my sabers are v3 and customized

the only thing about v4 sound is that you can hold more than one set (including mute)

Same . . . I've got V3 and V4 boards and they both work fine with the latest Obs launcher.

The V3 board is good stuff . . . you'll really enjoy it.

enough for one set of sounds
but you can put more than one sound in each category (idle, impact, movement etc)

Not on the V3 sound board, only on the V4 sound board.
