Had gutted my first saber (http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=25944.0) for another build (http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=28408.0), and the hilt's been sitting in the parts been ever since.

Finally got around to reviving it with the experience I've gained since then.

Replaced the activation box with a recessed guarded switch and shortened the rear section for better handling. Replaced the black covertec wheel with a gold-anodized wheel I salvaged from a Shock LE. Replaced the Premium Sentinel Yellow LED with a one-up Cree XP-E2 PC Amber (less orange than Fire Orange, and tied with Consular Green for brightness). Bladebuilder soundboard, 8ohm 1W speaker, and a 14500 lithium-ion w/ recharge port.

Aaaand years' worth of simulated wear and tear.

Ah, no, not a US Sentinel, or I'd have posted to Customizations. Just that, with the yellow blade and all, I was aiming for a recovered Jedi Sentinel's hilt.
