Greetings to all.
Should have done this weeks ago. I'm a slacker. Name's Chris from South Jersey. Been a fan since the 90s. My father first introduced me to A new hope and been hooked ever since.
Still have the original trilogy on VHS. No VCR though
It wasn't til TPM that I became a dark side follower. Yes, it was the double bladed lightsaber that did it for me.
Bought my first force FX saber back in 05/06 but it was stolen from me months later. Recently bought the Manticore saber with the Emerald driver and Obsidian V4.
I'm looking forward to meeting new people here and in my local area.

Welcome. Yes, the double bladed saber of Darth Maul is quite beautiful. Maul is one of my favorite characters, but I still consider myself a Jedi. Have a DS point from me as well.

Welcome to SaberForum, Chris. We're sure glad to have you with us and may I say what an awesome choice the Manticore with Emerald and V4 sound was. I think we can all feel truly thankful to Ray Park aka Darth Maul for his role in the popularity and rise of the lightsaber to where it is today. I know my eyebrows went practically up over my head when I saw his fight scenes for the first time, particularly the one on Naboo with his double edged saber. Wow, life changing moment there. Glad you found a worthy replacement saber for the FX that was taken from you. All is as the Force wills it, and may the Force be with you.

Welcome to the forum, LordCannon - pleased to have you here Maul's 'sabre made a big impression on lots of people, including me. It was the first replica I ever bought, and it's still sat proudly on my shelf (I can see it right now!). Such a cool thing to have. |

It was red to begin with.. i was just messing around with the emerald driver.
Always make sure your batteries are fully charged when you do. The driver works better that way. Just a friendly piece of advice. |
