Ever body gets the Scorpion. Yes it is a beautiful hilt, but I never see people getting the Bane, and I don't want US to stop making it before I can get one, so that is the one I would say.
Good point. I almost ordered a Bane RGB for the raffle entry. I, too, hope to get one in the not too distant future before they become extinct. |

I keep going back and forth on liking the Scorpion (def no claw) just because it's over kill on the accent windows. Not a fan of those but it's undeniably awesome. If I HAD to pull the trigger between the two it'd be the Bane - it looks like a katana for the Hulk. This is my exact problem with the Scorpion too. I absolutely love everything about it... except the windows. It's too much IMO. I'd LOVE one with no claw and no windows, but alas. For that reason, I'd pick the bane too. |

Bane's saber is described in the novels as a curved hilt. I don't know what the inspiration of the US Bane is. |

As I understand it, the comic came first, and the saber was retconned to a curved hilt by the novels. Having not seen that comic, I couldn't comment on how it related to the US Bane. |

I don't know enough about Bane, but when you look at the poster for ANH, it looks a lot like Vader's saber. |

 Yes good eye. It does look like Banes saber from US in Darth Vaders hand. Don't ask me why that's not Vaders saber in the poster. Also don't ask me what is in Han Solo's hand either. Almost looks like a curved saber of some kind. Maybe it's a blaster. |

That does bring another question. Is the bane the least popular hilt? Easy to guess the popular ones. Is the Bane the one most likely to be discontinued? |
