So, completing the "Throwback" series comes the 60s and 70s (mainly because it seems Rapine was busy with girls and parties in the 80s). Also, because those of us who grew up in the 80s probably watched these GREAT shows in syndication/on repeat as they're awesome! Thunderbirds
Captain Scarlet
Stingray
Batman
Scooby Doo

AHHHHH!! Thanks Knox. Old skool Batman was the shee-ite! I never really got into the marionette thing though. I know, I know...bad Rapine. Thunderbirds reminds me of -1 m'man.

Thunderbirds et al is exactly what inspired Matt Stone and Trey Parker to make Team America. 60s Batman is awesome, especially the movie (some days you just can't get rid of a bomb). In fact, all those shows were awesome. If you didn't like marionettes, I hope you liked these guys:

I think LR and I are of a similar "vintage", lol . . . I clearly remember getting up at 6am Saturday mornings just to watch the Thunderbirds in the 70's . . . I would have been 5 or 6 (1976), and I have vivid memories of building Thunderbird 2 & 3 out of lego and being very proud of my creations I haven't been following your "Throwback" series Knox, so i don't know if you've mentioned these, but I also remember "Battle of the Planets" and "Monkey Magic" from the late 70's early 80's . . . and of course, my other favorites at the time Dr Who & the Goodies

But it was AWESOME! And as Dr Who is still going and still popular I purposely left it out. Just for you though: 80s http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=33877.090s http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=33815.0

Born in '71 "Battle of the Planets"
YES! Mark was so cool! I'd imagine though, that replacing the glass covering the missile fire button got redundant...why not just leave it off?

I think it was called G-Force when it aired in the UK (I was about 6 at the time though, so I may be wrong, and really cannot be arsed to do a google search to find if I was correct)

I love Batman. I have the first season, I need to get the rest. I also love Star Trek and Lost in Space is pretty cool. Mission: Impossible is a great show that started in the '60s and went into the '70s. That's most of the TV I know from back then.
Edit: Damn! Almost forgot Battlestar Galactica from 1978. Love that show, it was cancelled too soon.
