Got my Overlord today and it is beautiful! I arrived home at 3:30 to find the FedEx box in my room, three hours before scheduled delivery. Excitedly, I made that sound that is a combination of a squeal and a scream. Little brother following, I proceeded to open the cardboard box and about two white squishy things down, I saw the tip. Removing essentials and trashing protection, as soon as that hilt was in my hands I couldn't let go. The grip was EXACTLY were I place my dominant hand, and the av switch was positioned where my thumb on my left hand is. The covertec wheel was position just under the knuckle of my left pinkie, which was strangely comfortable. Then next order of business was to activate it. I was blown away by the colour of the red and the V4 sound. I had read the BR does not look too good in UEHG but I loved it. The default Obsidian soundfont was amazing, but my personal favourite (so far) is the Sith. I got acclimated to the weight of the UEHG (not too different from a UEMG, very comfortable with the 36" blade) and proceeded to test out fonts and muck around with my little bro. A while later, he and I went out a open area just across the road from our house. We proceeded to duel, he started with my Overlord (grrr) and me with my initiate. After we swapped around my tactics IMMEDIATELY changed from defensive to offensive. The duel proceeded and my brother grazed the initiate's round tip across my leg. I responded by swinging three heavy strikes. The first missed; the second, my tip grazed his blade; and the third knocked the initiate's tip clean off. We were having the time of our lives, and my little brother was trying to suppress how much he liked the Overlord, I could see it in his eyes.  I would recommend this saber to anyone, it has a comfortable grip and looks just beautiful. |

Great review, it sounds like you're really loving it, which is the important thing. By the way, you get actual times from FedEx when your stuff is going to be delivered? I always get; "today, by the end of the day." I had read the BR does not look too good in UEHG but I loved it.
As with anything, experiences will vary. Not everyone likes it, but I'm sure there are others who do. It's all about preferences. |

Thank you, I am loving it. Yup. I put my order code in to FedEx's tracker once it shipped, and it said the scheduled delivery was for Wednesday 6:00PM. EDIT:   |

Great review. The Overlord is gradually gaining height on my wishlist. It is really a beautiful saber. Is that because you want to cut the cat's head off, or because you think that cats are very Sithy? |

Very nice for sure. I should send in my custom Shock for a tri-cree Blazing Red set up. Blazing Red in Ultra Edge really isn't all that bad to me. Thinking about getting an Ultra Edge blade for my Shock again actually
