Hello from Sweden!

So, I'm a longtime lurker who's finally decided to take the plunge as I have ordered my first saber. A bit of an impulse buy, something to cheer me up on valentines as well as something to get me through my studies.

Went for a grab bag in SRD, hopefully I will get something that will fit my small lady hands well and look nice on my belt. As a longtime Star Wars fan I've always wanted a lightsaber, and stumbling upon US was a really nice surprise. As soon as I can save up I'll be getting something fancier with sound. Really like the look of the Fulcrum, as an Ahsoka fan it'll probably be joining my home one day. The Guardian as well for the similar reasons.
First I'll probably go for a non-character saber though. Something with a windowed emitter would look snazzy.

I do a bit of costuming, working on a twi'lek Jedi right now and hoping for rebel legion approval in the near future.

Hello and Welcome from the Florida Sun Coast, grab bags are a great way to get into the Ultra Saber world. ***WARNING*** once it's in your hand you'll want more. You should find everyone here is friendly and helpful with everyone from beginners to wiring and customization experts, there are even spinning tutorials from some of the resident masters. So feel free to ask questions, look for suggestions/ideas, and post pictures of your saber(s). Just curious, how long does it take to get a saber to Sweden? Let us know when it arrives and post pics in the gallery section. Good luck with your saber (SRD is a fine color choice)

Thank you! Well, FedEx seems to think 3-6 business days so if we're optimistic about it I'll have it next week. Then there's always the risk of it getting stuck in customs and that can add anything from a few hours to a week unfortunately.

I'll be sure to add the actual time when I put up the saber photos.

Not my favorite, but still cool. Can't wait to see pics. Also, someone sill soon ask what type of points you want either Light Side or Dark Side. Let us know and I will give you a point.

Hello I also went with the grab bag for my first saber I got it a month ago I received a dominix le v4 and have already added some stuff to it . Everyone here is very helpful im new to the forum as well and everyone has been nice and helpful hope to see some pictures soon welcome

It wasn't long ago when grab bag sabers were completely random including the color, so I think it's really great for newcomers that they added that option. It's pretty safe to say that regardless of which hilt they send you, you will love it, because that's Ultra Sabers all the way. Their customer service is unparalleled, too.

A twi'lek Jedi cosplay... very cool.  I have the Fulcrum and Lost Gray and it's surreal to have them.  You would also probably really like the new Emperor's Hand, modeled after Mara Jade's saber.  Well, anyway, I could talk about Ultra Sabers, Lightsabers and Star Wars all day long.  Good luck to you and welcome to Saber Forum! Thank you! It seems I will get first hand experience with their customer service right away, my SRD is looking very, VERY green atm. If it was a slight thing I wouldn't be so bothered but after changing batteries it still looks like it belongs somewhere between CG & EG.   But I have to say it's a beauty of a saber I've got. An Apprentice LE V4 with a windowed emitter and a silver AV switch. I'll have a full review up as soon as I can find my good camera.
