Truth is the broad, overarching category that includes opinions, beliefs, experiences, and FACTS. Therefore, by you saying that "Solar progression through the sky isn't truth, but rather FACT. Math is FACT. And if it doesn't have a novelization written by George Lucas, it's not a SW movie is FACT. Facts cannot be argued, truths can." you are agreeing that there are indeed times where truth is not entirely relative.
What I am arguing is that although truth can be rooted in fact, fact is NOT necessarily rooted in truth. That is why they ask witnesses to "tell the truth" not give facts. At this time of day, the truth, in African time zones, is it's dinner time, while I am just finishing my MORNING coffee. The
truth, based on perception, can be argued as to whether it is morning or evening.
Now a statement of.....guns are dangerous. That is fact. It does not take into consideration the discipline of the handler, the caliber of the ammunition, or your personal beliefs on the second amendment. It is fact. They are dangerous because they were designed to be dangerous and inflict harm.
Now are we just having a go at each other over a superfluous argument for funsies or are we in a legit debate?

As far as arguments between Calon and I go... Undoubtedly. 😆 However, that does not mean that things remain the same. I'd have to check in with Calon to see where he stands on the matter nowadays.
You're still in contact with him? Tell my apprentice to get back on, I miss him.
