I think the first time I went to the theatre alone was to see Star Trek Beyond when I was 14. I'm pretty sure I've been to another film alone, but I can't remember.
Star Trek Beyond when I was 14.
Star Trek Beyond

Question of the day:
In your opinion, what is the most important superhero movie ever and why?
Personally, and it may seem cliched, obvious and over-used, but I would say Superman 1978. I would say, without that movie we wouldn't have comic book movies to same degree of regularity and popularity as we do today.

Exactly this. While I do love movies, there are other things more important to me. Things like family, friends, school, Lightsabers, etc. Question of the day:

Hard to say. But for me I feel like it is Captain America: The First Avenger. It is the first time we saw Cap, and I have always loved Cap. Probably my inner patriotism, but he just embodies everything that I want America to be. This is just my opinion, so please don't get mad at me for saying this, but Cap is the best superhero ever. And not just for being an American, there are other reasons as well that are not permitted on the forum.

It's only cliché because it's true! The fact that BATMAN BEGINS has a similar story structure and that it's been mentioned as an inspiration in interviews for WONDER WOMAN only reinforces this.

Good enough reasons, although that is more why it is important to you, rather than overall. But both approaches are equally valid. I'm curious at to whether you've been reading the recent comics where it has been revealed that Cap is actually a secret double agent for Hydra? It's only cliché because it's true! The fact that BATMAN BEGINS has a similar story structure and that it's been mentioned as an inspiration in interviews for WONDER WOMAN only reinforces this.
Also, the iconic running and opening a shirt to reveal a costume underneath.....

Point, I agree. Superman 1978 is still my favorite Superhero film of all time. No one has yet embodied the spirit of the Big Blue Boy Scout like Christopher Reeve. Tyler Holchien was very close though. This is one of my Prized Collectibles
