Red Lantern Corps Saber (In Progress)

Based on my previous saber, The Blue Lantern

steps:
1. Make a crack in the emitter
2. Weather the saber using Aluminum Black and scotch Brite
3. Leather Wrap the handle with a crocodile design cowhide leather
4. Create a chipped paint effect on the rest of the hilt
5. Using a coin blank, cut a hole in the center to place over the av switch and have it curve with the hilt
6. Etch the Red Lantern Logo on the surrounding coin blank
7. Place a Rhinestone over the illuminated av switch (center of the logo)
8. Paint "Rage" in Aurabesh around the circumference of the saber.
9. Weather and make chipped paint on a quick release coupler (Half Blue Half Red)

Together they will create the Saint Atrocitus Staff. Waiting on the saber, but here is the hide wrap Im using

Im going for the same exact style to match it as a staff and also as a base for all the "power ring" sabers, so its gonna be rinse and repeat. Having both side by side and connected is going to be sick. Im afraid the staf is going to be too long tho. The hilts are 12 inch, the coupler 2 inch, and the blades (36") when insterted should be 32". Thats 7.5 feet and Im 6'....lol am I in trouble? Lol

Im not the best at engraving so "Rage" in aurebesh in place of hope is the most I can do. I did add a kill count carved into the hilt. And I bought a blue and res crystal for the blade plug crystal chamber. They will resekble one another due to them intentionally being a hilt.

Weathering and cutting done. Next Leather, color, and the emblem around the AV Switch

P.S. Somebody please make a supernatural tv show themed saber or thats my next project lol.

Honesty, time and miney are the only factor. If I could buy 7 more sentinel V4's and make one for each I would. Although I was thinking about a Supernatural themed prophecy v3 with white blade, dunno if I want to tarnish it tho because I bought it as an imperial knight blade. I also want to do a Flash themed saber where the hilt is a dark red and lightning etched into the hilt is yellowish gold. The flash and supernatural ones wouldnt be aged. I wanted to comission someone to powder coat the flash one but it was too expensive and I dunno how I feel about basic spray paint.

The Flash saber definitely sounds cool, he's a really cool character.  If done properly and with the right type of paint, I've heard spray paint can work great.  You just need to get a good coating on it, and make sure you let it dry properly and put on a few coats of clear, to seal it and keep it from rubbing off.  It's certainly cheaper than paying for powder coating.

I have but don't like the design, and if it is not uniformly painted it might look awkward. These 2 sabers are just mental notes. Might sketch them sometime soon. Ifnyour interested in seeing that atleast
