The gradient one got me. I laughed for about 5 minutes straight.
Also, my neighbor's 5 year old son came RUNNING up to me like his butt was on fire while I was sabering this evening and he shouted, "LUKE SKYVADER!" and started hugging my leg. I love that kid.

My neighbors are cool people! I've let them play with my sabers and they act like children. It seriously warms my heart to see someone's eyes light up like a child whenever they turn that saber on. Ha, and I dare someone to tell me I'm too old to play with my saber. That would just incite a plethora of movie quotes and lots of overly dramatic spins and flourishes. I might also run down the street and yell, "WHOO HOO, REBEL SCUM FOREVER!!!!" |

Trust me, you don't want to see that particular brand of foolery. When I can get over seeing myself on camera, I'll post a few serious things. I'm sure I can get my husband to play with me a bit. He's actually a far superior swordsman. The staff is my thing, so now I just need to buy one! |

Points to you for making me laugh, Drahcir! I've got to start my intensive physical training for summer tournaments today, which means lots of heavy weight lifting and lots of slightly ridiculous yoga poses. I don't participate in any of the fights at the tournament, but my husband and I do Aikido demos and the kata competition. I'm hoping Sensei will let us do our sword demo with lightsabers this year. It would be EPIC, if I could manage not to smile about it the whole time. I try to be Serious Jedi when I'm on the mat, but I can't help it. I usually start laughing about something.  Post videos of this, you must. Dude, you don't know pain until you have nearly 6TB worth of music and movies to redo in iTunes.
