Heh. Got a chuckle out of this:

The sad part is that Gal Gadot only got paid $230 - 250 thousand for this movie.  I hope that she also got a small % of the profits.  Just wait... revenge will be sweet for the next installment.  But whatever they paid Chris Pine it was worth every penny.

The only injustice here is that real facts and numbers are ignored in favor of scintillating and controversial gender politics, but that's the internet, right?

Heck, Christopher Reeve didn't even get top billing for the First Superman...Brando, Kidder, and Hackman had top billing...why?  Because at that point Reeve was not a bankable star...even though he was the titular character.

I think this may be due to the fact that we've seen Superman on the big screen for ever. When was the last time WW had her own movie?

Henry Cavill got paid similarly for Man of Steel and made millions off of bonuses and residuals. It's becoming common in franchise films to pay the actors a small up-front fee and have them collect money based on performance bonuses. Keeps the up-front costs down and encourages the cast to give it their best.
