Thing is , a lot of the key points are going to be in the books...GRRM is going to go a different route to them. Last I heard. TBH I lost interest in the books around the 3rd one. |

No way GRRM is going back to book cannon after his comprehensive involvement with the shows- absolutely preposterous- this is his vision. Especially given his questionable health. |

Quite. Rare...but happens.
IMO Scott Pilgrim vs. the World did it. For me the movie successfully captured the essence of the story, cut the right amount of superfluous fillers, and made an ending that made a hella lot more sense. Plus...whenever they illustrated a flashback, they used actual frames from the original manga.  |
