I often forget some people are still in school....
Some of us HAVE been out of school for a while, that's true. Were it not for the fact that my wife is a teacher, the school year and its internal schedule would have no meaning for me, either. But depending on your school's schedule (quarters, trimesters, semesters), next week could be nothing more than a short week, rather than a major break in routine. And honestly, if you're not living in the USA, next week could also be nothing more important than next week. IIRC, Canada celebrated their Thanksgiving holiday last month, and some countries may not have a similar holiday at all. I'm not really sure where I was going with this post, to be honest, so I guess it's a good think this is the "random thoughts" thread. |

Same. Its been almost 20 years since I've been out of high school...didn't go to college. I don't have kids and know no one who works for the school system. I sometimes completely forget school is happening  |

Same..school was a struggle for me...I'm not going to pay someone to tell me I failed a class. Really (IMO) unless you are going into a STEM field, Law or Medical...college is a waste of time. Again though, IMO. |
