Disagree. And besides, even if that was the case I'd have rather not spent $80k for someone to vouch for my learning ability. My degree is such that I did indeed learn a lot from my major but everytime I had to deal with the Uni "core" classes "waste of time and money" doesnt even come close to the experience. Frankly I have only the faintest dregs of faith in our education system. But thats all ill say on that so as not to drift close to rule-breaking.
Agreed. Much is lacking around Education including how it is viewed from the inside. My experience and one I have heard echoed from many across the country in my age group is if you showed no desire to go to college (for whatever reason) or obviously didn't have the grades for it.....you were pretty much left out in the cold by educators when it came to your future. But Like you said....this topic can get very close to verboten topics. |

There's no such thing as a "happy monday"....however, once the coffee kicks in, it is possible to have a moderately reasonable Monday. I came pretty close once back when I was a teenager. Had Mondays off and worked about 70% of my hours for the whole week crammed into the weekend. I had about the polar opposite view of weekends than the majority, thus I lived for when Monday morning finally came.  |

my 3D printing has been going good so far. 6 masks sold and a keychain is a decent start. 3 helmets and a mask on order plus more to come. might buy a 2nd printer if things keep going like this.

Yes this. There were some courses that were basicially "WE didn't see you do this, so you have to do it again." Like speech and composition. However, speech was beneficial in that I learned how to overcome my fear of public speaking...better, but more so fear of IMPROMPTU speaking. Found out I'm rather good at it. And now the world is paying for it.  Frankly I have only the faintest dregs of faith in our education system. But thats all ill say on that so as not to drift close to rule-breaking.
Like I said, participation trophies. I am wondering what is the best drink with a home made burger ...
Maybe a Stella? Gumball is one of the few if not only current toon I can watch and laugh at.
