I ended up getting two Saturdays this weekend. It was surreal.
Went to the fair and pigged out. Zannah got to see a whole bunch of new animals. Apparently she is enamored by alpacas.
I also experimented and found out what happens when I down-tuned all the strings on my bass by an octave. OMG it was nirvana. I got the deepest, chuggiest bass sounds imaginable....except for my B string. The lowest I could get was a D (maybe) before the tuner wasn't able to register the vibration anymore.
And then there was Sunday.

I just don't have the time or much desire right now to try learning again. It's not an age thing, trust me. I'm learning how to figure skate, of all things, in my 30's so age is clearly just a number to me and not a factor in my decision making. lol
