Can any of you that have the diamond board please take a pic of or describe the connections? I would like to know if there is a large pin connector that spans the length of the pins so I wouldn't need to source the connectors for future accents.

Or is there several smaller ones and if so, are any of them (pin) left exposed leaving me to source a set of pin connectors to add accents.  I would doubt it's the later if the pins are default live but I had to ask.

Thanks!

I suppose you're asking specifically about the connections and not the layout of the board, since there's a PDF spec file for that. Maybe ask Jediseth to take a picture of his board, even though it's probably got electrical tape on the end. I know he has one

It's ok.  I've decided against buying a Diamond equipped saber.  After looking over all the things you can do vs the trouble people are having setting it up vs the real probability of never using 1/2 of the settings, it's just not something I want.  I'll stick to Emerald sabers, plus I really, really, really hate the Diamond interface voice...

Here you go, curious myself. It's a crazy mess of wires. More than Iv'e ever seen on a board.

Here is looking at the end where the wires are glued and connected to the pins.

Agreed, that's some crazy stuff. How would I even get in there to wire Accent LED's? I'd probably just ask if they can leave me some leads lol

At least there is a connector for the entire pin set.  Did you pull back the connector to show the pins or did it come like that? Wouldn't some those be live when the sabers on?  Hopefully the other side of that connector is accessible and hopefully it's a set screw type connection.  That would help first time DIYers a lot!
