You can probably do it another way, but this is how I figured it out.  Use Chrome to open the google photos app.  Right click the picture and you can share it from there to social stuff or just get a link.  I made an album to share stuff in, but I don't think you have to do that.

Let's see if this works. I think I'll call it Darth N'bspin

Thanks. I've had issues with the usual pic hosts and my company firewall. It like Google, so I'm going to give this a shot.
