Dark Sentinel upgrade

That's right.  The Dark Sentinel I won as a third place prize in the first raffle that I entered.

I "gutted" it, and added V4 sound and FoC to it.  I kept the original GB colour, and enhanced it with an illuminated AV switch.

I "LE'd" it up just a touch.  Subtle but unique...

Thanks 79.    Listened to it but not one I really know even though it was so popular.  A typical DL song with snippets of other song bars thrown in.  Can't believe that it's not a Rush song... Rapine is slipping.  And I'm not " f-f-f- Foolin ".

The one thing I was a bit concerned about with this built, was doing the TRI-Cree in series.  Not only was bridging the two pads on the star an absolute joy, but I wasn't exactly sure about the wattage - right on the edge...

I left the batteries in overnight though, and just powered it up now.   Wow that's bright!  I'm seeing spots now...  That perhaps wasn't the best idea at 5am...

"What do I plan on doing with these upgraded wonders?"  Well, seeing as I only have two hands, display will likely play a large role.   I do want to get outside now though.  WARMTH!

I'd like to add sound later, but it's a little daunting. Does the illuminated switch fit the same hole as the regular switch? That's probably my biggest worry.

Also, I got a tri-LED which means no FoC unless I change that, too (which, hey, some day!).

If it's a guarded switch (raised ring around a centre button), they're smaller (12mm).
