I was asked to take a few pictures comparing Violet Amethyst and Bane's heart. Next to the Bane's Heart the VA Looks very purple.  And here is a close up. (Thanks to ImpKnight for the direction.) This makes the camera focus better and you can see the color.  The HUE or Aura the VA is casting. That is the color of the blade, I know towards the tip in this pic it looks pink. The Bane's heart is very pink. Next to each other the VA really comes into it's own for me. The Bane's Heart is just to unique not to like. |

No problemo. I really wish that we could photograph these better. Because next to the Bane's Heart the VA looks more like the True purple it did when i had filters in. It looks like a true purple to me. Man, I love that Bane's Heart color! |

I really, really wanted to! P.S. ANYBODY that wants a Mace Windu color, The normal VA is choice; Either that or the DVA I agree with both statements! I have a saber in VA and it's TOTALLY movie accurate! And I'm using Rechargeable NiMH batteries with it! |

interesting. i was worried about that cause i use NiMHs and wanted VA i was just worried about it being reddish. then i learned about DVA. and now it doesnt even matter cause i got my new hilt with LiIons so no worries at all. |

These rechargeable batteries are a godsend. They keep the color strong and vibrant. |

Oh yes they will. Li-Ions are more for Obsidian setups. |

yea get some Sanyo Eneloops. and since you have a lot probably gotta get a multicharger. also you might want to consider putting the Rechargeables in the non-custom LEDs like GB and CG. but i think you have a majority of custom colors. but you may also like the colors the NiMHs produce. i got my Prophecy in SRD with NiMHs in it. sad to see it turn CG when it almost dies. but thats the down sides of prophecies, no Li-Ion available. I got Li Ion with no sound in my new bellicose just to keep the color strong in the mix LEDs. |
