Alright cool.
Is that because GB and CG drain power faster?
no, cause they are single color LEDs. so when the batteries get low, they just turn dim. My SRD which is mix of MoreGreen and blue, when the batteries go low, the blue one pretty much is gone and its just a dim CG. |

Speaking of dimness I actually like the way my VA looks as the batteries get lower. It becomes magenta, then pink, and then finally a dim red. The red may not sound impressive, but it actually really is. It makes me think of a "subtle evil." I love it.  |

exactly why i got my Li-Ions. not a personal fan of the warmer colors. but everyone has their likes and dislikes.

On camera my SY tend to look orange, Vex in his video, with his filter's in look super bright and yellow. IDK why but I like both of those. |

So the only colors I don't have are Fire Orange and Dark Violet.
I have the latter but it needs repairs.
So I gotta get my hands on a new FO but I think I may make that one.
I really want to review the DVA next to the other two variations.

i think Daniel Anerton did a review of the DVA but the more reviews helps to bring a better understanding of something. just like theres at least 10 reviews of each hilt

That review was why I got the DVA. I know all my reviews are the same because I don't get sound, But I know we all love pictures and videos. That and I don't mind taking comparison pictures and so on. |

Great thread Kham-Ryn, you can feel free to turn it into a color comparison thread if you want. Especially throwing the Dark Violet in there next to the VA and Bane's Heart, I think it'd be pretty enlightening. Only problem with these kinda things, the camera does tend to throw it off by giving different color casts... yours seems pretty accurate though! |
